Michigan Power Cleaning: Operation Wildfire 2011 Donation Awarded in July

Michigan Power Cleaning’s “Operation Wildfire 2011” donation of a UHP brush fire foam rig will be awarded on July 4th, 2011.  

The fire unit has a 60 gal water tank, a 2.5 gal foam tank, a 3.5 gpm Cat pump producing 1500 psi, a 6hp Kohler engine, a 200 ft hose reel, and a twin foam gun that can apply class A or B foam in a straight stream or a wider white line pattern.

The recipients of Michigan Power Cleaning’s “Operation Wildfire 2010”operation wildfire UHP foam skid brush rig donation was the PEMBROKE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT in St Anne IL. They have 16 members on their volunteer dept and they are located about 60 miles south east of Chicago. With 157 calls in 2009, 60 were wildfire calls. 

Congratulations to them on their new fire apparatus. 

They will put it to good use protecting property and lives.
